Overview
MyLife is designed to help you organize important personal information and documents while keeping that information under your control. Privacy is a core part of the app's design.
Information You Store in MyLife
MyLife allows you to enter and organize information such as identity records, documents, home information, health information, financial information, vehicle information, insurance information, notes, reminders, and other information that you choose to add.
This information is stored on your device as part of the app's local data and is not collected by the developer.
Documents, Photos, and Camera Access
MyLife may request access to your camera, photos, or files when you choose to scan, photograph, or import a document. Access is used only to perform the action you request.
Document Recognition and Auto-Fill
MyLife may analyze documents to recognize text and suggest information for form fields. Document recognition and related processing are performed on your device. Recognized information is provided as an aid and can be reviewed or edited by you.
Device Authentication
MyLife can use Apple's device authentication features, such as Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode, when you enable app locking. Authentication is handled by the operating system. MyLife does not receive or store your biometric data.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, MyLife may schedule local notifications on your device. Notification permission is optional and can be changed through your device settings.
Backups
MyLife provides a user-controlled backup feature. When you create a backup, the backup is encrypted by the app and you choose where to save or share the resulting backup file.
You are responsible for protecting backup files that you export and for controlling where those files are stored or shared.
Data Collection and Tracking
MyLife does not use advertising SDKs or third-party analytics or tracking services. The developer does not collect the personal information, documents, or records that you store in MyLife.
Data Sharing
MyLife does not sell your personal information. Information stored in the app is not shared with advertisers or data brokers by the developer.
Data Deletion
You can edit or delete information stored in MyLife using the controls provided in the app. Removing the app from your device may also remove locally stored app data, subject to Apple's operating system and backup behavior. Backup files that you previously exported must be deleted separately from wherever you chose to store them.
Third-Party and Apple Services
Certain device features used by MyLife are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple's own privacy practices and device settings. Examples include device authentication, the camera and photo library, file selection, and local notifications.
Children's Privacy
MyLife is not specifically directed to children, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if MyLife's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
