App license

MyMundus is provided by the MyMundus developer (GitHub: klysown). For copies distributed through the App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a different license agreement is supplied in the App Store listing. These pages describe the app's intended use and features; they do not replace that agreement or any rights you have under applicable law.

A personal travel journal

MyMundus helps you record journeys, visualize routes, and create travel-footprint videos. It is not a live flight tracker, booking provider, immigration record, navigation system, or proof of travel. Do not rely on its routes or distance estimates for safety-critical decisions.

Route and time limitations

Flight arcs are illustrative. Road and walking paths are suggestions from Apple Maps and may differ from actual travel. Train lines connect entered stops unless you import a track. Distances and country counts depend on the records you enter. Dates and times use the device's current time zone. Different currencies are reported separately without exchange-rate conversion.

Your records and exports

You control the records you enter and the files you export. Keep backups before changing devices or deleting the app. Exported JSON backups are not encrypted by MyMundus. Import can replace journeys with matching IDs; the local recovery snapshot is described on the support page. The developer has no server copy of your archive.

Sharing and permissions

Only attach or share content that you have the right to use. Review a generated video before sharing it: routes, locations, captions, and an optional name can be visible. The app does not automatically post to social networks. Third-party services, including Apple Maps, GitHub Pages, and your chosen sharing destinations, have their own terms and privacy practices.

Attributions

Bundled Earth imagery is NASA Earth Observatory's Blue Marble: Next Generation, July 2004 composite. NASA is credited as the imagery source and does not endorse MyMundus. Detailed maps, search, and suggested directions are provided by Apple Maps. Their on-map attribution must remain visible. Instagram is a third-party sharing destination; MyMundus is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram.
